Walt Disney World Swan And Dolphin Resorts
These two resorts sit in the Boardwalk area with the Boardwalk Inn, Yacht Club and Beach Club and within walking distance or a short boat ride to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios. While they are not officially Disney resorts (they are owned by the Marriott), these resorts can be a great way to enjoy your stay at Walt Disney World.

You may have said “well, those aren’t real Disney resorts and don’t have all the Disney perks.”
The Disney perks. . . like . . . free Disney bus service to the parks and Disney Springs? They have it. Free parking at the parks if you want to drive your own car? They have that too! Proximity to the parks? How would you like to walk to Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Fantansia Gardens mini-golf, and the Beach & Yacht Club, & Boardwalk? Yeah, that’s better than most Disney resorts. Six pools, a water slide, pool volleyball, three whirlpools, white sand beaches, sand volleyball, playground, and maybe a toddler walk-in pool? Yep - all of it! “But I bet they don’t have good dining and especially character dining!” Well, you would be wrong. They have all of the above.
The price? Normally, they are similar to a Disney moderate resort pricing. Right now due to Covid-19 and a AAA discount, you can get a two double bed room at the Dolphin for $123/night. You read that correctly - cheaper than a Disney Value Resort. Yes, there is a parking fee (just like every Disney resort) and a resort fee. Yuck, I hate resort fees, but at $123/night (prices may vary during the time of travel) for a deluxe-style and quality resort, it’s hard to complain.
Well, off to enjoy (and walk to) the Boardwalk Bakery for dessert!
