Value Resorts at Walt Disney World

Value resorts at Walt Disney World can be a great way to experience the magic and be able to stay on property without breaking the bank. All Disney value resorts offer quick service dining, pools, fun activities, great theming and bus transportation to and from the parks.  The value resorts are Pop Century, Art of Animation, and the All Star Resorts (Movies, Music and Sports).  All the value resorts are located near the ESPN Wide World of Sports and have the shortest bus rides to Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT (compared to Animal or Magic Kingdom).  All rooms have a mini fridge and coffee maker.  Most rooms have King bed or a queen bed and pull down queen bed (when it is not pulled down it is a table, but the bed is very comfortable).Pop Century Dive into the decades with this fun resort! Disney's Pop Century resort has areas for the 50s, 60s (preferred rooms), 70s, 80s and 90s.  It has 3 great pools and access to board the Disney Skyliner (a gondola carrying you to EPCOT or Hollywood Studios).  Many people love the quick service dining location here (tip during COVID- select your mobile order and say "I am here" when you leave your room so your food will be ready when you arrive at the main building).Art of Animation (reopening 11/1/2020)       The newest of the value resorts, the theming here is so fun and this resort is the only value resort to offer suites (can be a great option for the family).  Room themes include Little Mermaid (standard rooms) and Lion King, Cars, and Finding Nemo suites.  Suites include two bathrooms and can sleep 6 with a separate bedroom, a pull down table bed, and a pull out couch along with a kitchenette.  This resort also has access to the Disney Skyliner.  Art of Animation is also one of the dog-friendly resorts on property. All Star Resorts (Movies, Music & Sports- Movies reopening 2/9/2021)These are the least expensive of the value resorts (specifically Music and Sports) and offer great theming based on each resort.  The other great news is that they share pools with each other.  They do sometimes share buses as well, but not always.  Each resort is easily walkable between each other which also means you can share quick service dining locations.         So which resort is right for your Walt Disney World vacation? This truly depends on your price range and the experience you would like.  Keep in mind that value resort rooms are typically smaller and have exterior doors to the rooms (more of a motel feel), but are still very high quality compared to national hotel chains at similar or lower price point.  If you are looking for great theming and affordable accommodations, these resorts can be a great option for you.  If you would also like easy access to EPCOT or Hollywood Studios, looking at Pop Century or Art of Animation will also be to your advantage. Some cons of value resorts are that the rooms are smaller and often draw more families which means noise levels at these resorts can be higher.  If you are looking for nicer dining options, these resorts do not offer those choices and they can be rather spread out which can involve some walking. All these resorts offer great activities on site as well including Movies under the stars and playgrounds as well as other fun things to keep you busy at the resort for a day away from the hustle of the parks. For a more personalized resort selection, reach out to one of our travel planners today.  We will help you find the best resort for your travel group based on your party size and your vacation goals.
