Family Fun Activities within Walt Disney World Parks

The Walt Disney World theme parks are more than just rides, parades and firework shows.  Even during 2020 with adjustments to park offerings, there are still fun ways to engage as a family and don't even involve hopping on a ride. Two great options are Wilderness Explorers in Disney's Animal Kingdom and Sorcerer's of the Magic Kingdom.  These are fun activities that the whole family can enjoy throughout your day at the parks.Sorcerer's of the Magic Kingdom:This interactive scavenger hunt allows you to explore Disney's Magic Kingdom to stop Hades' evil plan to make the Magic Kingdom his new summer home.  Guests of any age can stop at the Firehouse on Main Street U.S.A. to collect their key card, map and spell cards.  There are 20 Magic Portals to visit throughout the park where you will battle Hades henchmen and eventually Hades himself with your spell cards. Each mission can last between 20-30 minutes and can be a great way to keep the family engaged between rides and other activities with in the park.  This game does need to be played in order, but can be a great option for those that aren't interested in some of the rides or if you are spending multiple days in Magic Kingdom. This activity is free and is best for those ages 7 and older due to reading and interaction with the game, but all ages can still enjoy.
