Universal Orlando Resort has officially announced the opening date of its brand new theme park - Epic Universe. The new park will open on May 22, 2025 and packages as well as multi-day ticket options are available for booking NOW.
Universal Orlando resort currently boasts 3 amazing parks- Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure and their water theme park, Volcano Bay. In 2025, they will add this fourth park to their line up on a new campus about 10-15 minutes from the main resort campus. Epic Universe will be full of thrills, fun and adventure.

The new campus for Epic Universe will boast 3 new resorts- Universal Stella Nova opening January 21, 2025, Universal Terra Luna opening February 25, 2025 and the Universal Helios Grand Hotel opening on May 22, 2025. Stella Nova and Terra Luna are both prime value hotels which will feature standard hotel rooms and offer guests early park entry to the Universal parks. The Universal Helios Grand Hotel is a signature hotel and will offer standard rooms as well as suites AND a private entrance into Epic Universe (separate park admission required).

Epic Universe will be comprised of 5 new portals: Celestial Park, Isle of Berk, Super Nintendo World, Dark Universe and Wizarding World of Harry Potter- Ministry of Magic. With new attractions, dining, shopping, entertainment and more, guests will be in for a new experience. So let’s break down the lands.
Celestial Park will be the centerpiece of this park featuring a time piece portal. Guests will be able to experience Stardust Races- a dual-launch coaster (that might be even more epic after dark…), a Constellation Carousel plus great dining options like fine dining at Atlantic.

Super Nintendo World is a life-size game and will feature Super Mario Land AND Donkey Kong Land. Guests can experience Mario Kart: Bowers Challenge, Yoshi’s Adventures and Mine Cart Madness- that is 3 epic rides just in 1 portal. Guests can also use Power Up Bands to earn points and play interactive challenges (and if you have a band from California, it is eligible to work here too!). In addition to the fun games, you can meet your larger than life Super Nintendo hero’s like Mario and Luigi and dine at Toadstools Cafe.

Dark Universe is the twisted land where monsters roam. Guests can experience full thrills and screams on attractions like Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment or the Curse of the Werewolf. Plus, you can become a monster at Darkmoor Monster Experience and even meet monsters in the streets. Don’t forget to grab a bite to eat Das Stakehaus.

At How to Train Your Dragon - Isle of Berk, you can find your favorite characters including Hiccup and Toothless at the heart-warming show “The Untrainable Dragon”. Plus guests can take a coaster ride on Hiccup’s Wing Gliders or practice acrobatic maneuvers on Dragon Racer’s Rally. There will also be a Viking Training camp- great for even the youngest vikings and a chance to eat and drink like a Viking at Mead Hall.

And finally, for the first time, guests will be able to enter the Wizarding World of Harry Potter- the Ministry of Magic. Featuring characters from the beloved Fantastic Beasts series, this area of the park will take you to the Wizarding World Paris in the 1920s with a wand shop, dining, interactive wand locations, a show where you can see some of your favorite magical creatures plus you can go into the 1990s Ministry of Magic and Battle for the Ministry in an all new, epic attraction.

There is something for everyone at this epic new park and packages are available now. At this time, entrance to Epic Universe will only be available when guests purchase a multi-day ticket (3, 4 or 5 day ticket) which will allow guests to spend 1 day at Epic Universe during the dates of validity and the remaining days in the other parks (either Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure or depending on the type of ticket you purchase, Volcano Bay water park).
At this time, Express Pass, VIP Tours, single date tickets and other features are not available for purchase but more information on these products will come at a later date.
