Every spring Universal Orlando resort celebrates the fun and festive Mardi Gras. With a spectacular parade on most nights, a festival of food from around the world, vibrant music and more, this event brings the spirit of NOLA to one of central Florida’s most exciting destinations. And best of all, access to this event is FREE with park admission to Universal Studios Florida.

Running from February 1 through March 30, 2025, guests can be the life of the party! The main event on most evenings is the Mardi Gras parade with festive floats. Plus, on select evenings, guests can even sign up for a dining package that features an opportunity to ride one of the floats and toss beads to fellow guests.
What’s better than watching the parade? Being IN the parade!
The parade will start next to Cafe La Bomba, make its way up Hollywood towards the park entrance, take a turn through Illuminations’ Minions Land and make its way through New York before exiting the same area where the parade began - talk about full circle fun! The parade is full of vibrant colors and entertaining performers. Be ready to catch some beads and have a blast! There is no additional cost to watch the parade, as long as you have park access on that date. Guests can check the Universal Orlando app for parade times each day.

The other big draw of this festival are the global eats on the streets. From beignets and King cakes to hot maple lacquered salmon, Columbian burgers and more, guests can tease their taste buds with food from around the world.
