Deluxe Resorts at Walt Disney World

Walt Disney World boasts a variety of property including ones that offer great space, top of the line amenities and the best locations that can include quick access to your favorite park and/or views of the park from your resort room.  These are known as the deluxe resorts.  They do also have a price tag to match, but if you are looking for convenience, it might be worth the price and when you have a travel planner book your Walt Disney World vacation, we also watch for any discounts available (which often means getting a deluxe resort without the deluxe price tag).Deluxe resorts have larger rooms to offer more space in the resort.  Most rooms also have a balcony or patio as well.  Typically they will still have two main beds, but some come with additional sleep options.  (There are also Deluxe Villa resorts which can accommodate larger groups and families- more details in a later post.)Deluxe resorts have multiple pools including a pool with a water slide and a quiet pool area.  These pools are some of the best on property (we are looking at you Stormalong Bay) and can only be used by guests of that resort.  Deluxe resorts also offer deluxe dining options with some of the best character meal options. But the best part of the deluxe resorts is their proximity to the parks.Let's check them out to learn more:Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge- Animal Kingdom As you likely guessed, this resort is located just a short bus ride from Disney's Animal Kingdom park, but the biggest bonus is the ability to book a Savana view room and see the animals from your resort each day.  This resort is a great option for those that love to be close to nature and love animals.  Who wouldn't love drinking their morning coffee and watching the zebras?  This resort is home to Boma- a popular meal choice with vibrant flavors from Africa (temporarily unavailable).

Disney's Yacht Club- Boardwalk area near EPCOTThe sister resort to Disney's Beach Club Resort shares a similar location and they share access to Stormalong Bay.  This resort has an upscale, adult feel with a lounge and steakhouse as its main dining locations, but is still fun for the whole family.  With recently renovated rooms, this resort has space and location that can be a great option for your Walt Disney World stay.Deluxe resorts are an excellent choice if you want convenience and space during your Walt Disney World vacation. To learn more about which resort is the best fit for you, contact your Goofy Getaways travel planner today.
