Disney loves to celebrate the holidays.  And this year, Walt Disney World is going over the top to celebrate the holidays alongside their 50th anniversary.

Here are just a few magical details to enjoy at the Walt Disney World resort this holiday season.

All Walt Disney World resorts will offer special holiday decor to help you celebrate the magical season including some delicious holiday treats.  Make sure to check out the Disney parks blog as many treats will have select dates for their treats- https://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2021/10/foodie-guide-to-holidays-at-disney-resort-hotels/ ).

We are so excited at the return of the Gingerbread House at Disney’s Grand Floridian resort from November 10- January 1, the return of the Gingerbread Carousel at Disney’s Beach Club Resort from November 1- January 2 and the holiday village at Disney’s Yacht Club resort.  You do not have to be a guest of these resorts to enjoy this special holiday magic so take moment during your seasonal getaway to experience the sights and smells of the different resorts.

Disney Springs will have their spectacular Christmas tree stroll and offer select treats during the holiday season as well.  This is a great way to spend a day outside the parks while staying in the Disney magic.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios offers special treats throughout the park (we’ve heard great reviews about the Red Velvet Whoopie pie at the Backlot Express and Trolley Car Cafe’) as well as offer a special showcase of lights on the Tower of Terror at night.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom will have more than just delicious treats.  The popular Merry Menagerie will return this holiday season with life-size, artisan sculpted puppets.  All ages will enjoy the magical holiday interaction.

EPCOT is all about the festivals and the International Festival of the Holidays is here to celebrate the holidays from all around the world.  From special food booths to world class entertainment, EPCOT needs to be on your list to visit during the holiday season.  Guests will be able to say hello to Santa Claus at the America pavilion, explore the World Showcase with Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition and even see beautiful, gingerbread replications of popular memorials (inside the American Adventure Rotunda from November 26- December 30).  And this year we will see the return of the Candlelight Processional! Offering celebrity readings of the Christmas story, special holiday music and memories to last a lifetime, guests can book dining experiences starting October 26.

And of course, we can’t forget Magic Kingdom! While Magic Kingdom offers their special Very Merriest After Hours event on select nights from November 8- December 21, all guests at the park will be able to experience the holiday magic.  From delicious treats and decor to seeing Santa Claus and enjoying special holiday cavalcades, you will feel the joy of the holidays throughout the park.
