Universal Orlando Resorts- Where to Stay

Universal Studios Orlando offers a number of amazing resorts right on property.  Guests staying at a Universal Orlando resort receive some great perks as well including early entry to select parks to visit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and select attractions before the parks open to outside guests.  This means more time in the park with fewer guests!  Premier resorts also offer the amazing perk of having Unlimited Express pass included with your stay- this means you can use the shorter line on all the rides that offer this perk as many times as you would like during your visit to the park.So what resorts are available on property at Universal Studios Orlando?

  • Universal's Dockside and Surfside Inn and Suites
    • These are the newest properties at Universal Studios Orlando and are considered value hotels starting as low as $91 per night.  They offer suites to accommodate families and small groups traveling.  They still offer free shuttles to and from the parks but are not in walking distance.
  • Universal's Cabana Bay Resort
    • This prime value resort is located next to Volcano Bay with quick access to the water park as well as walking paths or shuttle buses to the main theme parks.  With a fun, retro vibe, this resort also offers limited family suites or rooms that over look Volcano Bay.  These rooms typically start at around $132 per night.
  • Universal's Adventura Resort
    • Also a prime value resort, this one is for those looking for tech savvy details.  It even boasts a roof top bar and can be a great spot for couples or adults only.  It is next to Cabana Bay so located close to Volcano Bay and a short shuttle ride to the parks.
  • Loew's Sapphire Falls Resort
    • This is a preferred hotel which means more perks available for resort guests including water taxi access to the parks, a shorter walk to the parks and a quieter feel on property.  If you are looking for a relaxed feel at your resort during your stay, this is a great option.
  • Loew's Royal Pacific Resort
    • This resort is beautiful and a favorite for many of our travel planners for the premier category.  With spacious rooms, a quiet feel and easy transportation to the parks, guests can enjoy a more luxurious feel during their stay plus enjoy the amazing perk of unlimited express pass access to select attractions in the theme parks.
  • Hard Rock Hotel
    • Live like a rock star at this premier resort located next door to Universal Studios Orlando.  With super star perks and some cool amenities including music playing underwater at the main pool, this can be an unforgettable place to stay for your Universal vacation.
  • Loew's Portfino Bay Hotel
    • The final on property resort gives guests the feel of Italy and a relaxation while still being close to all the action.  This premier category resort offers great perks and some wonderful onsite dining locations as well.
